For the third year in a row, Hays is partnering with start-up super connectors Empact Ventures to launch the Super Connect for Good competition, which aspires to discover and reward the emerging tech start-ups and scale-ups changing people’s lives for the better. 

 

If you’re a tech start-up or scale-up owner and would like to enter for the chance to win a whole host of exciting prizes, just make sure your application is submitted at the link below by 11pm on 31st July 2022.
 


We’ve made our initiative global this year, widening entries in a bid to capture applications from across the UK and Ireland, Europe and Australia and New Zealand. We want to find tech start-ups and scale-ups creating positive change in any part of society including education, healthcare, local communities, public services and more. Innovation in the following areas is welcomed: 

  • AI for Good  
  • FinTech for Good  
  • ClimateTech 
  • EdTech  
  • MedTech  
  • HealthTech  
  • Smart Cities  
  • General Tech for Good (anything that doesn’t fit into the above categories)  

We’re also continuing with our Pre-Seed Challenge as well as an Impact Challenge – a focus on tackling a wider industry challenge that makes an aggregate social impact in society. 

Once the competition has closed, our expert panel will select the top ten start-ups/scale-ups in each innovation area to compete in our virtual Top 100 Innovation Showcase event on 13th October 2022.

Last year's competition saw applicants from a number of innovation streams, including AI for Good, EdTech, HealthTech, MedTech, Smart Cities (including IoT, 5G, Mobility), FinTech for Good, CleanTech and a general Tech for Good stream. Other categories included a Pre-Seed Challenge and an Industry Challenge in partnership with Siemens Mobility. Each application was carefully examined by a team of judges over four rounds, and we are now pleased to present the winners in our European Tech for Good report.
